~EXAMPLES OF WORK

Rotating Columns of Air

Eddies or vortices, rotating columns of air

Shouts and whispers

MOON FALL

THE BLACK SWAN

Sings, cries and screams

Higher pitched voices, the hard palate

Spring of air, vibrant vocal cords

Laments and intones

HAPPINESS

GIFTS OF LOVE

Exclaims and orders

Breath pressure, vocal cords and vocal tone

The sound column and the resonating zone

Impeaches and exclaims

POOR WOND’RING ONE

SOUND THE ALARM

Implores and demands

A throat opening device and a resonating zone

Longitudinal vibrations, spring of air

Talks and utters

COULD I LEAVE?

ONLY A MIRACLE

Chants and intones

Sheer direct muscular action and vowel shaping

The tongue contacting the soft palette

Remarks and states

ADELAIDE’S LAMENT

ROSA’S CONFESSION

Comments and speaks

The mere tip of the tongue is employed

Make way for the ensuing vowel

Protests and pronounces

THE SOFT COMPLAINING FLUTE

ART IS CALLING FOR ME

Monologue and repetition

Injecting a slight lisp into the S

As the pitch rises the L is made smaller

Wishes and desires

WHAT GOOD IS THE MOON?

BE THOU FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH

Declaring and pronouncing
