I was asked to provide the piano music (Bach’s great Ricercar from The Musical Offering) that was to come floating out of a window as a women walked by, and, upon hearing the music, felt that she had been released from an evil enchantment.
The documentary is about the stories of how six ordinary Germans from both sides of the conflict, experienced the end of World War 2. For Germans, it was a time of deprivation, fear and soul-searching.
