Whilst still a student at The London College of Music, Virginia won the ‘Lillian Hunt Prize’ for composition twice, which has led to her career in music, with composition as a main focus. In addition, Virginia arranges and directs.

Virginia has a particular leaning towards setting poetry, and consequently has written, arranged and orchestrated many songs, both solo and for choir.

Her pieces have been performed by Lontano and Odaline de la Martinez, John Dankworth, Voice Trio.
