The Three Valleys Male Voice Choir is based in Waltham Abbey, Essex, and rehearses every Tuesday (in term time) at The Waltham Abbey Baptist Church.
It is a friendly and welcoming non audition choir singing a broad range of songs including: sea shanties, songs from musicals, classical and jazz music, you don’t even need to be able to read music!
The Choir does regular public and private concerts (please see ‘Events‘ for a full list), and does a yearly tour to an English seaside resort.
In 2020, the choir performed a sea shanty set at ‘The Walthamstow Garden Party’, sponsored by The Barbican Centre and Artillery.
WAVE was a community based, ‘no audition’ choir with high aspirations. Led by Virginia’s talent in composition, arranging and conducting, this energetic and diverse choir made for a dynamic mix.
Virginia led WAVE through many projects including several events at The Waltham Forest Borough of Culture in 2020. These included one called ‘Breathing Space’ which was a collaboration with The Royal Court Theatre.
The group currently consists of about 25 men who thoroughly enjoy themselves by singing to the public. We rehearse weekly and have an active programme of monthly concerts.
